Travel Malaysia Entry Regulations 2024.For foreign travelers arriving at KLIA1 and KLIA2 International Airports, as well as all designated international checkpoints, it is mandatory for all non-Malaysian citizens to fill out the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC).
Effective 1 January 2024, completion of this MDAC will mandatory, except those list below:
- CITIZENS OF SINGAPORE
- DIPLOMATIC AND OFFICIAL PASPPORT HOLDERS
- MALAYSIA PERMANENT RESIDENTS AND LONG-TERM PASS HOLDERS
- GENERAL CERTIFICATOF IDENTITY (GCI) BRUNEI DARUSSALAM HOLDERS
- BRUNEI MALAYSIA FREQUENT TRAVELER FACILITY HOLDERS
- THAILAND BORDER PASS HOLDERS
- INDONESIA CROSS-BORDER TRAVEL DOCUMENT (PLB) HOLDERS.
Tourist Visa on Arrival:
- In most cases, tourists are eligible for a 90-day visa on arrival.
- However, entry and exit conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
- Travelers are urged to stay informed about the latest regulations and updates.
- For the most up-to-date information on visa requirements, it is recommended to contact the nearest Malaysian High Commission, Embassy, or Consulate in your home country.

- Visit the Registration Page: Go to MDAC Registration to begin your registration process.
Personal Information
- Name: Enter your full name as it appears on your passport.
- Passport No.: Provide your passport number.
- Date of Birth: Input your date of birth in the DD/MM/YYYY format.
- Nationality / Citizenship: Select your nationality or citizenship from the dropdown menu.
- Sex: Choose your gender from the options provided.
- Date of Passport Expiry: Enter the expiration date of your passport in DD/MM/YYYY format.
- Email Address: Provide a valid email address for communication purposes.
- Confirm Email Address: Re-enter your email address to ensure accuracy.
- Country / Region Code: Input the international calling code for your country or region (e.g., +65 for Singapore).
- Confirm Country / Region Code: Re-enter the international calling code to confirm.
- Mobile Number: Enter your mobile number, including the international calling code.
- Confirm Mobile Number: Re-enter your mobile number to confirm.
Travelling Information
- Date of Arrival: Specify the date you plan to arrive in Malaysia in DD/MM/YYYY format.
- Date of Departure: Provide the date of your planned departure in DD/MM/YYYY format.
- Mode of Travel: Choose the mode of travel from the options provided.
- Last Port of Embarkation: Indicate the last port of embarkation, which is SINGAPORE in this case.
Note: Ensure that your trip falls within 3 days, including the date of submission.
After Registration will receive email from Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) – Registration Acknowledgement with PIN Number
